Acadia-St. Landry Home Health is to provide medical care in the home setting for patients who are homebound and do not require hospitalization. The patient’s physician must order the service and certify that the patient is homebound, needs skilled care and that the services are medically necessary. Medicare and Medicaid and most private insurance will pay for most Home Health Services. Services offered are: skilled nursing care, home health aide, physical, occupational, and speech therapy, medical social services and durable medical equipment.
