The ALS Association Louisiana/Mississippi Chapter services 290 patients within both states with 3 Care Services Staff. There are 4 ALS Clinics in Louisiana located in New Orleans and Baton Rouge. An ALS Care Services Coordinator attends all ALS Clinics and meets with each patient one on one to assess needs and provide support and resources. Durable medical loaner closets are located in Baton Rouge, Lafayette, New Orleans, Shreveport, Houma, Slidell, Jackson, MS for all ALS patients. ALS support groups are held in Baton Rouge, Lafayette, New Orleans, Houma, Shreveport, Covington, Jackson, MS and Gulfport, MS.
