This program provides education, information, referral and support to professionals as well as the community (caregivers) regarding Alzheimer’s Disease and to advocate for improved public policy and to contribute to research. The Alzheimer’s Assoc. also operates a HelpLine and a resource library of brochures and literature regarding Alzheimer’s. LOCAL SUPPORT GROUPS: Youngsville: 4th Thursday of the month, 6:00 pm at Youngsville City Hall, 305 Iberia St., (Hwy 92). contact Debbie Bollach at 277-3052 or Patsy Breaux, 394-5877. Eunice – Third Wednesday of month, 12:00 noon at Eunice Manor, Conference Rm (contact Felicia Lavergne at 457-2681). Franklin: 2nd Tuesday of the month 6pm, Franklin Foundation Hospital, Classroom.
