Programs offered through the Office of Family Support include FITAP, Food Stamps, Child Support Enforcement, Disability Determinations, Individual and Family Grant Program, Emergency Repatriation, and the Find Work program through Project Independence. The Find Work program is for FITAP recipients only. The DAP (Diversion Assistance Program) provides cash assistance for families in crisis due to the loss of a job. All applicants are seen on a walk-in basis and are interviewed in the order the applications are received. The Medicaid office is located in the Office of Family Support. Under Support Enforcement services there are 5 basic types of services offered: 1) Locate parents; 2) Establish paternity; 3) Establish orders (including medical support); 4) Enforce orders; 5) Collect and distribute payments.
