The mission of Project Cope is the meet the needs of the elderly blind, in their homes, to assist them in continuing to maintain independence. Services include instruction in cooking, safety, money management, item identification, orientation, mobility, low vision evaluations for possible magnifiers and/or other low vision devices, referrals for transportation (depending on area), books on tape from the State Library. Assistance is given one-to one or in a group setting.
