Americorps is a community service organization with a membership comprised entirely of UL at Lafayette students. Americorps’ primary focus is tutoring children both in-school and in four Lafayette Housing Authority residential developments and also works with a variety of local non-profit organizations throughout the year on a wide range of service projects. Americorps welcomes inquiries from any non-profit group in need of service volunteers for a one-time or ongoing basis.
