The Extra Mile recruits and places volunteers to assist state clients in three disability areas: Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Abuse. Volunteers are recruited for state facilities, community-based programs, and one-on-one mentoring. Anger Management Program is part of the Parent Support Sevices. The Extra Mile also provides services to the Office of Community Services and supports activities through the Office of Public Health.
